Courtesy of Encore Video Productions (Myrtle Beach), this video footage features the construction of the World's Tallest Sand Castle attempt. Team Sandtastic of Sarasota, Fla., worked on the structure May 25-June 2, despite Tropical Storm Barry which hit Myrtle Beach in the final days.

lol buildings used too be made from sandstone so biggest sandstructures are old lifesized buildings.

ye true it's sandstone. I think they are cool but i have seen alot of real castles and they own more. If ur american i can understand u dont'have real castles. But i live in amsterdam en halve my city is basically medieval.

MEdvitz trust me once u walk in a real castle u will never stop for a sand one. I mean u see knight's armour everywhere big corridors, like 100000000 bricks, big towers, swirling staircases, Big fire places and rooms with banners, etc. If you come too europe i can recommened going too 1, if ur amazed by this since u wished u want too go in it :P

castles are amazing all on their own and stuff. but even if you are European and live near old castles, just think of the skill it takes to make something like this out of sand, its incredible :P
