| I love the narrator's tone of voice !He almost sounds happy, or as though he is getting some kind of sadistic adrenilin rush as he expressively describes how much at the mercy we vulnerable little insect humans are to nature..its funny cause he would be killed off too, maybe he is proud of the fact that he has come to terms with the fact that we are all going to die and is mocking anyone who would be arrogant enough to think that everything is under control. |

| If a meteor were to strike, you wouldn't see a fireball streaking to earth. It moves at hypersonic speed, faster than a speeding bullet. You wouldn't see anything, you would instantly be vaporized by the heat as soon as the meteor penetrated the atmosphere, before it hits the ground, if you are within hundreds miles of the projected impact site. Most likely human life will be snuffed out when Yellowstone, which is a supervolcano, erupts. I'm a geologist with a Ph.D, it's my job to know this |

| Hmmm, I think in order for your statement to make any sense it is in need of more detail than what you are providing. Meteors strike the earth all the time and they are quite visible as fireballs, some larger than others, the one over Canada for example. How would the heat from a meteorite vaporize us before it strikes the ground ? The heat comes from it entering the atmosphere, it does not provide a heat source on its own. I think you need to add more details to qualify your post. |
