It's an incredible undertaking, will be a heck of an accomplishment when it's completed.

The bypass is being built to relieve congestion on Highway 93, the road that goes over the dam. Back in the day, the road was adequate, but these days, frequent "switchbacks" and the volume of traffic create frequent congestion. The Hoover Dam and the highway are awesome sights. Those highway columns soar into the sky.
